Palacios
Rioja (Alta)
For as long as Javier Palacios could remember, he has felt that his life was linked to the land. He was born and raised in the village of Albelda de Iregua, in La Rioja. Although his professional career did not begin in wine, he was bitten by the wine bug during a trip to Burgundy and decided to return his gaze to the land. To the vineyard. The result, Palacios Vinos de Finca, was born in 1999, devoted to producing unique wines in Rioja Alta.
Palacios embodies a singular philosophy - to search for gifted territories to make unrepeatable wines, different from any other. This philosophy is centered on the belief that the true character of a wine is born from its soil. Through sustainable and precise viticulture with respect for biodiversity and minimal intervention, they aim to create wines that are not only exceptional, but that authentically reflect the place they come from. At Bodegas Palacios Vinos de Finca, the commitment to the terroir and the environment is unwavering.
Individual plots of an average of 2.4 acres in size are the mainstay of Palacios. These plots are mainly located in the Alto Najerilla, Valle de Iregua and near San Vicente de Sonsierra all in Alta.
